Ozan Muhammed Kabak was born on March 25, 2000 in Ankara.

Ozan Muhammed Kabak started playing football in the Silivrispor youth system, playing with older players, and it was during this period that he developed the habit of playing beyond his years. Encouraged by his father, a former amateur footballer, and his physical education teacher at primary school, the footballer started playing as a center forward and played in all areas of the attacking line.

Recommended to Galatasaray by his teachers at Silivrispor, he was quickly recruited by the club’s scouts. At the age of 11, he had to commute from Silivri to Florya almost every day for two years. At the end of the two years, his father, who was a prison warden, was transferred and the journey from Tekirdağ to Istanbul began. Despite all these problems and the time he spent on the road, Ozan Muhammed Kabak did not lose his performance on the field and achieved a great success by winning the Science High School.

Thanks to his development beyond his years and his ability to play with composure, he was brought into Galatasaray’s youth system as a stopper. At the age of 11, he proved himself in this position and was included in the U-15 National Team squad, making his debut against the Czech Republic in January 2015. Since then, he has continued to play regularly for the national team and Galatasaray, scoring a total of 9 goals in 42 appearances for the U15, U16 and U17 national teams despite his position. Particularly effective from corners and set-pieces, Kabak continues his individual work to reach the goal target he sets for himself at the beginning of each season.

In addition to his success in playmaking and positioning, the footballer, who continued his education at the Science High School in a football environment in Turkey where football players have difficulty even passing the driving license exam, proved that he has risen above world standards by being named among the “10 most striking players of the tournament” by UEFA at the 2017 U17 European Championship, where the Turkish National Team reached the semi-finals.

After this success, Atletico de Madrid became a suitor for the starlet, who caught the attention of Jan Olde Riekerink and started training with the Galatasaray first team. Ozan signed a professional contract with Galatasaray in June 2017 and made his professional debut against Yeni Malatyaspor on May 12, 2018. As of the 2018-19 season, the young player became one of Fatih Terim’s most trusted names in defense.

In January 2019, Ozan was transferred to VfB Stuttgart, one of the well-established teams in the Bundesliga, for 11 million Euros, becoming the player with the highest transfer fee in the club’s history. After 4.5 months at Stuttgart, where he was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Year, he signed a 5-year contract with Schalke 04 on June 30, 2019.

Continuing to win the admiration of the audience with his performance here, the star player transferred to English giant Liverpool on February 2, 2021. Ozan, who played here on loan for half a season, continued to stay in the Premier League in the following season and played for Norwich City for 1 year.

After 1.5 seasons in the Premier League, Kabak returned to the Bundesliga and transferred to Hoffenheim at the start of the 2022-23 season.
